| Both times that I have been in Delia's it has been a test of endurance. There were 4 out of 5 employees on the "floor". Four of which were hanging around the dressing room encouraging the customers to try on jeans for a coupon. That left one person working the register. I was in line to purchase overpriced poor quality t-shirts. The woman in front of me had a number of items, and the girl at the register was ringing them up as seperate transactions so as to maxamize some coupon she had. No-one thought to jump in and work the other register. When I was finally being rung up I was asked my name. Last time I checked it was on the credit card I handed her. But, I told her my name. Then she wanted my zip code. What for? Then I was told that if I wrote my name and phone number down on a list, located at the counter for all to see,some-one would call me to remind me to use a store coupon. No thank you. The second time was no better. Once again I had to wait an unusually long time. I wanted to exchange a t-shirt for another size. I was asked to write my name and phone number down on the return slip. Why would you need that? All you need is my card, if that. Who is privy to this information? Can you guarantee my privacy and safety? Do you sell this info? The music is too loud, the service too slow, and the prices too high. I'm not returning. |
