I am now on my 3rd set of Pfaltzgraff dishes, love my pattern but unfortunatly have had a couple break, and am extremely dissapointed to see that I am now being forced to buy online. So dissapointed that, in fact, if I do not find what I am looking for in my local department stores that still sell Pfaltzgraff, I will not be purchasing another set of dishes. The S&H costs are OUTRAGEOUS!!!!!

If Pfaltzgraff cared about their customers, none of these postings would be necessary. They only (appear) to care about their own pocketbooks and not ours. Pfaltzgraff customers want to feel the product (we want stores), we want quality (China?..lead?..HELLO!), and we want "American pottery" (I presume our Canadian friends that have posted even prefer American over Chinese!!). FYI: The Longaberger company (an Ohio basket company)is selling American made stoneware which I was informed (I can not verify)is being produced at a former Pfaltzgraff facility. It sure feels like the stoneware we all love. (I purchased my first Pfaltzgraff piece in 1982 on a shopping trip to the city with some friends - one of whom became my husband in 1992!! I was 16 at the time!!)

My best friend has given me the Pfaltzgraff bug and am deciding on a perfect pattern for myself. I love Napoli for it's brightness, but appreciate Yorketown for its simplicity, and wonder about Folk Art. Buying online is crazy as the shipping and handling is ridiculous. (I recently wanted to partake in the dollar sale. Shipping and handling was higher than the cost of the product.) My friends and I decided that a pleasant road trip to Solvang would be in order, but all the stores are now online! Come on, Pfaltzgraff, open your outlet stores so my friends and I can get a true feeling of how these patterns look - photos online don't do them justice. And one more thing: Why is all of it made in China? What happened to good old American craftsmanship! Don't you realize that the colors aren't as brilliant and true? And with all the lead scare, do we really want to trust the Chinese with dinner dishes? Hire Americans. Keep a loved American product back in the States.

Just came came back from a useless trip to the outlets mall at Birch Run to purchase dishes at the Pfaltzgraff outlet store which is no longer there. I specificially took my husband so he could actually see the pattern I wanted to purchase to make sure he like it or to help pick out a different one. This would have been my fourth set of Pfaltzgraff dishes. I am very disappointed. What were you all thinking? Pay attention to some of the commentary your customers are providing and reconsider opening the stores. Unless you are going to offer free shipping on all of your items, shipping costs are just getting too high to purchase dishes and serving pieces online.

I am so disappointed that you closed the Lancaster, PA Pfaltzgraff store. I bought my Christmas dishes at that store, and enjoyed visiting the store whenever possible to add new items to my home. I hate online shopping for dishes, you just can't get a good sense of what they really look like online. It appeared that the Lancaster store was a sucessful business, why did you close all the outlet stores? Bring the profitable ones back!

After reading the rest of the comments, adding mine seems redundant. I also am very disappointed with the closing of the store in Prime Outlet Shops, Birch Run, MI. One of the main reasons for shopping there was to avoid the shipping costs.

We traveled to Wrentham Ma and Kittery Me only to find both stores had closed. What a disappointment! We used to love going to these stores to buy our dishes. We want them Back and so do a lot of other people!!

I was really disappointed when they closed the Lake George Factory Outlet Store. I loved going up there to see what new items there were & what I could get to add to my collection. Now I don't know where to go to do this because I was told that the company is no longer. I would appreciate a reply from anyone as to whether this is true or not; & if not, where is the closest outlet to NY. Thank you.

The workers in the (former) Burlington, NC told me that a few years ago the owners sold Pfaltzgraff to a company in China (that's why the newer plates felt so different) and also why the "super outlets" stop having "2nds". After they moved I'm sure it was much cheaper for them to just ship to internet customers than lots of outlets.

You have closed all stores in California? Should I not complete my set and move on to another brand?

Very disappointed you closed the store in Glens Falls NY. I traveled 1-1/2 hours to add to my tea rose service only to find the store closed. What a disappointment. It is the only store within a few hour driving time. The closest store is now 4 hours away. I will not buy from the catalog as the shipping is way too much, approximate 25%, or order.

There is no store or mall that has this store. I really miss it, its variety, its products everything. I really enjoyed when I was in Saginaw, MI, at the Prime Outlet malls. Please open a store in Tampa Prime Outlet mall

I really miss your store in Jeffersonville, OH and so do my neighbors. I am not a big fan of shopping on line. It would be great if you put a store in southern OH or northern KY. DJ FROM CINCINNATI, OH

What a disappointment to find that you had closed the store in Rockvale Outlet Mall in Lancaster, PA. We went many miles out of our way on our return from the West Virginia to New Hampshire just to go to the Pfaltzgraff store.

Bring back my store! I was so excited to finally get one so close to home. I'm a hands-on shopper. Pictures don't reveal the texture, craftsmanship, quality,or true color of the product! Catalog shopping is so regressive and time consuming, especially if you have to make a return with delivery costs. I'm not an online shopper. I have a lot of Pfaltzgraff. Purchased all at outlet stores during the last 25 years.

Went to Williamsburg Outlet store and found it closed. With Pfaltzgraff dishes and flatware, I want to continue same patterns, but flatware is not on web site and the flatware has no pattern name on it. With growing family, I need more of same.

I'm so disappointed that you closed the Kittery, Maine store!!! I have several different patterns and now am concerned about replacement pieces. Looked into purchaseing online but the shipping cost is prohibitive!!!

very sad to see the Pfalzgrat store in the Kittery area is gone. One of our number one stops when we went to Kittery to shop. Linen & Things was one of the stores in Canada carrying this brand and they are gone too. It is too expensive to shope on line and have shipped here, between shipping and duty, the cost is too high. a very sad Pfalzgrat shopper.

I was very sorry to see the store in Branson closed. Myself and my two daughter all have pfalzgraff and we made trips to Branson about every 2 months and we always bought something. I have bought my daughter pfaltzfraff dishes for their christmas and birthdays and will miss not being able to do this. I have shopped on line but will probably not buy as much from you as I would have in the store.

I have to add my feelings to this list... I make a special trips regularly to the outlet mall just to visit your store and buy your products and it was gone!! Every time I was in your store which was usually every 3 weeks, it was shoulder to shoulder with customers. I couldn't believe you disappeared and I am not comfortable with purchasing items over the internet. I am very disappointed that you closed this location and now will have to find new pattern of dinnerware made by a manufacturer who physically supplies their product here. I would never purchase product I cannot see or touch before I spend my money on it.

I'm very disappointed that you have closed the outlet store in Henrietta, NY. I looked forward to going to it often, shopping for my daughter and relatives, all of which have Pfaltzgraff dinnerware. I myself have the Mission Flower set (now disc.) and i absolutely love it. Now i don't know what i will do. That store seemed to be always busy, Why oh Why do you do this terrible thing.

It is -20 degrees and on a shopping trip to the Albertville, MN Mall we discovered the Pfaltzgraff Outlet Store is gone. Why? It was my favorite store in the Mall. It attracted a lot folks on bus tours plus alot of local shoppers. I would always purchase something on each trip to the mall. I am ready for new dishes, but am hesitant to order site unseen.

Hello! I have been collecting Pfaltzgraff patterns for years now. My favorite is Villa de la Luna. I am really disappointed there is no outlet or factory store in Kentucky. I'm pretty sure that this sentiment is widely shared by all others in my state who love Pfaltzgraff products. God bless.

I'm also disappointed that a Pfaltzgraff store was shut down at our nearby outlet (Aurora Farms). What is the reason for all these shutdowns?
