| I am convinced you have to be OCD to work at SAS shoe stores. I love their shoes, but I absolutely HATE going in the store. The store in my area is staffed by women who are obviously Super-perfectionistic, super critical and obsessed with detail. The "disorder" is called Obsessive compulsive disorder. Today I went in the store and was accosted by 2 clerks after I had told both I did not need any help, had been in the store before and knew my size. After some looking, I found a pair of shoes I liked and intended to buy. One of the clerks came up to me and grabbed the box out of my hand saying "we have to put these away ourselves." I felt like throwing it back at her, but told her I wanted to buy the shoes. This is not the first time I have had boxes of shoes literally grabbed from my hands. I think the thing is that they think they are the only ones who can arrange the tissue paper correctly between the shoes in the box. When I left the clerk called me by my first name which I think is very unprofessional. At this point, I didn't want her to use my name at all. |

| I have had this same thing happen, but they are told to do this, so the next customer that try's that same pr of shoes thinks they are the 1st to have tried that particular on. Some people are "fussy" that way. Also, if you try 1 or more pairs on, sometimes the customer DOES put the wrong size's back in the box, or even worse--1 shoe of another size--so they are mis-matched in size. VERY embarrassing to the people that work there. |

| My friend and I bought SAS shoes in Ft. Meyers, Fla 2 weeks ago. The staff was amazing and over the top with helpful service. Do you know if there are any locations in Ontario, Canada, yet? |

| i love the shoes but they have NO voice mail, no info about store hours anywhere, impossible to reach to get info if store is closed. i have a 90 and 92 year old family and cannot drag them around and "hope" the store is open. |

| I love these shoes and shopped at the Rockvale outlet mall in Lancaster Penna.
To be honest I would make my own shoes before I would even consider stepping into that store again!
The demeanor of the staff is repugnant and that should be considered a great compliment. |

| SAS is a great store. The shoes are somewhat expensive but well worth it. Great comfort for your feet makes the world of difference. I use to buy dress shoes that turned out I could only wear for a couple of hours and then my feet would hurt, but with SAS shoes I don't have that problem. NO more 2 hours shoes. SAS shoes are well worth the money. And those shoes, they last a long time.
I can save money on other things but comfortable shoes are a godsend. Especially for me. I have hard time finding comfortable shoes cuz I wear size 10W (very hard to find) but not a problem at SAS |
